Ayurveda is simply put the health care science of the subcontinent of Asia. As far back as 5000 years ago we find anthropological findings of the health care practices of the day. Ayurveda includes eight branches of health care. Including surgery, pediatrics, toxicology, and others. It is a supreme system that can be practiced very complexely by doctors or in the simple daily self care procedures.
